90 Listings in 90 Days - Week 11 Learnings

coaching Apr 28, 2023

Week 11 of the 90 listings in 90 days challenge is complete. The Mateja Group has taken 48 listings so far with several agreements out for signature and more appointments set for this weekend and next week. We are making our final push to bring listings in during this 90 day challenge and, more importantly, bring inventory to the market to give buyers some options. The pipeline remains full and we will remain focused on nurturing those leads until they are ready. We expect to take many listings after this challenge ends from the activities we have been performing and it should be a strong summer. We have shared some of the key learnings from this week below.

#1 - It is not how many hours you work, but rather how much work you put into those hours. Many of us find that we can't "turn it off" at the end of the day because there is so much more we wanted to accomplish. If you are intentional with your time and focused on the right activities, you will find you complete the day and can turn it off. I have always believed that "if you know how to turn it on, then you will be able to turn it off." Get the important items done and you will find the end of day is more restful.

#2 - Now is the time to focus your efforts on educating the consumer. They are hearing mixed messages from the media, their neighbors, social media, and they are looking for someone to explain to them what is going on and what that means to them. It is a great time to be sending informative emails, writing blogs with market updates, and recording videos to explain the conditions of the market and what to expect. Be the expert and clear the fog for the consumer as that is what they need to know how to move forward and who to move forward with.

#3 - At this point in the challenge, it's a good time to check in on the activities you have been performing. Which activities are working? Which activities are not? How will you set your schedule for the next 12 weeks to maximize your chance for success? We should periodically be measuring our inputs and our outputs to determine which activities we should continue, which activities we should spend more time on, and which activities we should stop.
